This Saturday was the Bee Happy Vintage Market in the Biltmore Village, located in Asheville, NC and the weather could not have been better with sunny blue skies. Mr. BRV and I decided to make a day of junkin and a stop off at the Bee Happy Vintage Market. This was a wonderful little market with about 25 vendors from many different areas such as Tennessee, South Carolina, and right at home here in North Carolina.
The host of the market was Bee Happy Wares & Whimsies and they had a very inviting booth with a little bit of everything for everyone. The vanity on right when you walk in just made me stop in my tracks…..it was a beauty. There were also aprons, pillows, and many other goodies to choose from. Lovin the burlap.
You just gotta love the logo…..it makes me smile!
Don’t you just love the basket with pillows?
There were so many great vendors at the market I hardly knew where to start. I did make it a point to drop by several booths and speak to them for a bit. There were several booths, that were busy that I didn’t want to interrupt them. However, I am planning to visit them online. There was a really good flow of traffic to the market and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves (I know we did) and can’t wait until September for the next market.
Let me introduce just small group of the folks that were participating in the market.
Michael and Sarah are awesome love their picks….the enamel top table lovin it.
I am crushing on the Biltmore Diary wire crate.
Janette has some wonderful treasures.
Did you check out the Scrabble tiles?
Isn’t this to die for? I love the unpainted top.
Malia definitely brought some great finds.
This was a great demo and yes Marilyn, the chair was terribly ugly before you started.
She brought a sea of colors to chose from.
These signs are great…..love the reclaimed wood!!!
I am hoping they will come up with a lotion for poison ivy. I dropped the hint while I was visiting them.
Farm Girl Finds
Fell in love with the flour sack towels.
Don’t you just love the pig? He’s a keeper.
These are just a sampling of the vendors that I was able to chat with. There were certainly more vendors at the market with some fabulous treasures just ripe for the taking. There will be another chance to visit the Bee Happy Vintage Market in September, just keep and eye out on my Facebook page. Hopefully I will get the chance to visit with the other vendors in September.
Have you been to any great markets or fairs lately? What treasures did you bring home?
