A trip out this Saturday brought me to the Vintage Hendo market hosted by the Southern Appalachian Brewery, located in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The weather was a little concerning early in the day with clouds, but wait the clouds began to part, the sun popped out, and the adventure was on. Mr. BRV had to work so I drug my son along with me for a little junkin and an adventure to the Vintage Hendo.
There were many great vendors there and the day was hopping. The market didn’t officially open til noon, however there were lots of people very interested in this market way before things got started. The market had 30 vendors coming from South Carolina, Tennessee, and lots of folks from the home area of Hendersonville and Asheville, North Carolina.
I want to share a few of the vendors with you just in case you were not able to attend and yes they are going to make you wish you had come out to enjoy the day with everyone. I want to say that I wasn’t able to get around to everyone, because let me tell you there was a lot of buz going on at this market and the vendors were very busy.
Michael and Sarah are pulling it off again with all their great treasures. I hope the industrial stool went to a great home….love the blue!!
If you looked around they had some Mad Men style items just right for the picking.
I hope you had stopped by as you went through the gates Dave had some great work inviting you in. Did you see the letters against the fence?
Malia really brought out some great finds and she had everyone in mind with her picks. Vintage aprons, galvanized tubs, wooden ladders oh my!!! Did you happen to see the smurf drinking glasses? This brings back some memories.
(I think we have a photo bomber)
Let’s just go ahead and get this one out of the way…..YUM!!! Who can resist frosting in a jar? Huh…I thought so, there is nothing like a large spoon and frosting. Don’t try to act like you have never done this before.
If you didn’t check out the head-board bench and the framed animals you missed out. That bench was awesome, I just wished I had a place for it and it would have gone home with me.
Did you see the great jewelry that was inspired by Balmain Collection? These were definitely inspired and everything looks great.
This spot was awesome…The Lady Beatrice had it going on. I mean the hats, clothes, purses, shoes, and just a little bit of everything vintage was for the taking here.
We had a really great time checking out the booths and see what everyone brought to indulge us vintage and curious collectors. I would like to thank everyone for letting us take some pictures and speak to you about your wares. The weather was great and the people were awesome. How could you not have a great time with food, treasures to find, friendly people, and beer. I hope to be able to reach more people next time at the Vintage Hendo, hopefully we will see it again soon. Maybe in the Fall???? We will see what they have in store for us. Hope to see everyone soon at a market near you.
