In our travels for fabulous treasures, we have the honor of finding some awesome ephemera from the late 1900’s and early 1800’s. Some of these finds are mind-blowing when it comes to the graphics and the preservation of color. Sometimes the color and style of today’s graphics just doesn’t hold a candle to how things were done during that era. These folks were definitely pioneers of their craft and were great at it. We wanted to share these wonderful finds for everyone to enjoy.
The latest finds are post cards and they really just drew me in and believe me it was a challenge to not walk away with all of them (there were thousands to choose from) and I was like a kid in a candy store.
How GRAND!!! I wonder if it is still around? Pinehurst is in my home state and I just may have to do some detective work and see if it is. If you are familiar with The Carolina or know someone that is, I would love to hear from you.
