The farmer’s markets and the road side fruit and vegetable stands are beginning to fill up with berry offerings. I have to admit St. Patrick’s Day is a little lower on our list of holidays to celebrate. Even though we are of Dutch-Irish decent. My children are very random sometimes and they will just bring things up out of the blue. Keep in mind that my children are not 7 and 4 years old, they are 16 and 13. They came to me over the weekend and explained that since St. Patrick’s Day was coming up they needed a special treat. While trying to think of something I had on hand and relatively simple…..I came up with this quick treat for my Leprechauns.
