Easy Apple Butter
I know the calendar says we only have about 7 weeks until Spring, but around here it is still very much Winter. That means it is still comfort food time. There is no better comfort food than warm apple butter slathered on a piping hot biscuit. In my search for a great crockpot apple butter recipe, I was also looking for an easy one. Now what I mean by easy is pouring all the ingredients in and letting the crockpot do all the work. During my search I came across a recipe from Denise, at Little House on the Valley the recipe seemed simple enough and I was ready to give it a try.
Peeled, cord, and sliced up all the apples to fill the crockpot.

You know the routine…it’s hurry home from work, drop off and pick up from this practice, or attend this committee meeting. After all of this is done there is little or not time for cooking. I have found a great remedy for this all so familiar problem….One Pan Lemon Chicken

The farmer’s markets and the road side fruit and vegetable stands are beginning to fill up with berry offerings. This will allow you the opportunity to play with different tastes to complement your warm and taste oatmeal breakfast.
I absolutely love brussel sprouts and I am always looking for new recipes to try and ahhhh have I found one.
It is getting that time of year when the days are getting shorter, night air is cooler, and the craving of warm things begins to start stirring.
I have been searching for a scratch made Sour Cream Pound Cake recipe for a special occasion. I really enjoy making things from scratch just like my grandmother did. I can’t ever remember seeing her measure anything for a recipe. It was always a little of this and a pinch of that, well that is an entirely different post in itself. While I was strolling through Pinterest I came across a recipe that just fit and I am not really sure why, but it just spoke to me. It was one that had minimal ingredients and simple straight forward instructions to follow.
