New DIY Life For A Tossed Away Cabinet….

During one of my picking/junkin adventures I came across this brown wood cabinet with glass shelving.  It really kind of reminded my of a cabinet my grandparents had.  It was completely intact, no broken shelving, doors closed and latched.  Yes, it was going home with me.

Blu Ridge Vintage has had an interesting year.  We started a blog, traveling to vintage shows and markets, dug deeper into Etsy and Ebay, created a Facebook business page, dipped into the Pinterest well, stumbled, fell flat on our face, got back up, fell once again, got back up and dusted ourselves off with a new attitude and approach and then began to crawl.

Vintage Fashion Printables….

Vintage fashion has always caught my eye and the printables that I have for you will not disappoint.  I know how long it takes me to get ready for work or to go out, however I can’t imagine how long it took these ladies to get dressed each day.  There were many pieces to a ladies attire that would go into her final look, such as the stockings, corset, petticoats (many in some cases), under garmets, shoes or boots and the actual dress.  I am exhausted just thinking about it, but after all was done the ladies looked amazing.  I hope you enjoy and feel free to copy and print.
